DeRidder, LA. dweller, Damar Jackson is a passionate singer-songwriter-producer. Engrained with an unrelenting work ethic, Jackson has invested countless hours into his music and in turn he has seen his stock begin to ascend. This summer found Damar releasing a 5-track EP titled Ninety3Until, which gave us just a taste of what the young R&B star is capable of when it comes to songwriting and putting a cohesive project together.
Last month, Jackson revisited the quick strike project by pairing his Big Fruit-produced single “Crazy” with an official video and today he’s back once again, equipping another one of his popular singles with visual treatment. Continuing to put the finishing touches on his debut effort, Damar Jackson promises more of the same and he executes effortlessly with the optics for “Calling Me.” The new black and white visual shows us a story of a man who is embedded in a relationship in which he lives with his girl, but she isn’t the only one that wants a piece of him. Throughout the video he fends off calls from another woman, ultimately coming home to find that she’s been in his house and left him a little message.
