If you’re asleep then you might as well WAKE UP because Paper Paulk has something to say and you don’t want to miss it. After the “Summertime Grind” visual from the Fresh Vibes Mixtape, Paulk is back and has come out the gate swinging as he’s giving fans two for the price of one. The 27-year-old Cleveland, OH emcee has just dropped two new releases, the much anticipated Fresh Vibes Mixtape along with a new visual for the track “Vows.”
Paulk is not only a lyrical, creative genius but with his Fresh Vibes Mixtape, has taken us back in time to Boaz Yakin’s 1994 movie, Fresh. Throughout the mixtape, you can hear the lines from Samuel L. Jackson‘s character, giving his son life lessons on survival.
The mixtape offers a really raw and edgy masterpiece that only Paper Paulk is able to deliver. Paulk made the decision to drop out of college, stop hustling, and focus on music as his full-time career; a decision I’m sure his fans everywhere are praising him for.
Paulk has found much influence in the likes of Jay Z, Nas and Big L. Viewing his craft as a way for people to relate to his story, he plans to use his gift to connect. And in true form, he’s keeping it real and keeping it fresh!
