Kodak Black just released his new song titled “Chances” yesterday, the single produced by Clipbeatz.
The rapper isn’t letting his current location stop him from releasing new music. He is currently in jail after being sentenced for two misdemeanor weed charges, according to XXLMag. He had been charged for 120 days, though won’t serve the entire sentence due to credited time already served behind bars. While he is expected to be released November 30, he is still looking at charges in South Carolina for sexual misconduct, the results of that charge and any other time he may have to serve still not clear.
Despite the current situation, Black is not letting his music wane, his new song being a reflection on how he got into his current situation. The song isn’t a very long one, running at 1:54, and drones about “new era promotions” in the background of the rapper rhyming to a driving beat about taking chances, how “I do whatever because I can”, and about the marijuana that ended up getting him arrested.
