You may not know him now, but according to the sounds and vibes of his new video, “Tsunami,” Kevin Clarke will be a name that everyone will soon come to know. Clarke, a native of L.A., has hit the pavement hard with his new single “Tsunami” which is one of the singles off his debut EP Idle. Clarke’s musical inspirations are Sade, Marvin Gaye and J.Cole to name a few and once you hear his sound, you’ll immediately know that the crooner has definitely learned from the best in the biz.
Because of his mellow, sultry sound the singer/songwriter has gone from unknown to buzzworthy in less than a year. In the video below Kevin sings out:
“I got the girls singing Oh Oh/I got the girls screaming Oh Oh/I got your girl singing Oh Oh”
And trust us, we’re sure he’s going to get quite a few girls to say whatever he wants once this video reaches the masses. Clarke also goes on to say in the song how he shouldn’t chase these girls but they just run, run, run and shoot him down like boom, boom, boom. Well Kevin, get ready because I have a strong feeling, the tables will definitely turn and then “the girls” will be chasing you.
