Last night at The Meadows Music & Arts Festival, Kanye West was headlining a very eventful evening filled with talents such as J. Cole, The 1975, Kygo (who brought out Shaggy), and much more. At this point in the show, about 9:20, Kanye was the only performance still going, so naturally a majority of the festival goers were going to be in attendance for some part of his set.
As seen in the video below, the instrumental for “Heartless,” off 808s and Heartbreaks began playing, and before the hook ended, Kanye told his DJ to stop the music, then turned to the crowd and said “sorry, family emergency, have to stop the show,” then proceeded to hurriedly walk off the stage. This was followed by an (uncaptured on camera) update from someone presumably from Kanye’s camp, going on stage and saying Kanye wasn’t “On Sight” and would be taking a 10 minute interval (from which he never returned from). The joke might’ve been a little cheer-upper at the moment, but had the person known the issue at hand, it would’ve been a different kind of vibe.

Now, it’s reported that Kim Kardashian was staying at her private mansion in Paris when she was robbed at gunpoint by men posing as police officers. CNN reports that “five men threatened the apartment building’s concierge with a weapon, handcuffed him and forced him to open the private apartment.”
Once two of the men involved were inside, one man held a gun to Kim’s head, then locked her up in the bathroom while they looted valuables from the apartment. “The prosecutor’s office said a ring worth an estimated 4 million euros ($4.49M) and a jewelry box worth about 5 million euros ($5.6M) were among the items stolen.”
The widely known and popular couple typically visit Paris in accordance with certain obligations in the fashion world.
