JoJo releases an emotional VHS-themed music video for “Music,” off her highly anticipated album, ‘Mad Love.’
For the video, JoJo pulls out her childhood footages of her singing, dancing, acting, and pretty much everything documented in her earlier years to becoming a star. Over the sound of piano keys, JoJo projects her strong vocals singing about her life.
If you grew up listening to JoJo and are a big fan like me, then this video will definitely pull heart strings (which it probably will for anyone). She is in love with music and everything that has to do with it… it’s her life, which she proves.
The video and song gets even more sentimental when she mentions her father who passed. She sings “Went on the road to make my daddy proud / But I lost him and so I sing to the crowd / My only hope is that he’s looking down / Thinking, ‘Oh, my God, my daughters doing it now.'” Video clips of her parents show during this moment.
‘Mad Love‘ is due Oct. 14 and features the Remy Ma-assisted track “FAB,” and the Wiz Khalifa featured song “F**k Apologies.”
