Noodles, originally from Union City, California, is most famous as she is the DJ for Oakland R&B star, Kehlani. Last week, skater Dylan Rieder died of Leukemia at 28. He was a pioneer in the skate community and influenced many young people globally. Noodles puts out about one mix a month, and last week, put one out inspired by Rieder and the mark he left. It features tracks like “Any Place, Any Time,” “Keep it G” by A$AP Rocky, and Mac Miller‘s “Dang.” The 40 minute mix pays tribute to Rieder by including tracks that point to the ideas of legacy and love. It remains upbeat, even though it was inspired by an obviously sad loss. The Dylan Rieder tribute mix is titled “love you always” and was released on SoundCloud. Take a listen to it below and tell us what you think!
