Late last night, Louisville R&B singer, Bryson Tiller, surprised fans with a brand new track titled “Let Me Explain”.
Last September, Bryson Tiller quickly made a name for himself with his debut studio album, T R A P S O U L. With little to no promotion for the album or Tiller himself, it’s impressive how popular the project grew in such a short amount of time. T R A P S O U L reached No. 12 on the Billboard 200 and eventually went platinum just before the summer of this year. The albums standout track “Don’t” even managed to grab the attention of Drake who tried to sign the young talent to OVO, before Tiller ultimately decided to go with RCA.
Since the release of his debut album, Tiller has been relatively quite on his own end, despite lending his vocals to some big-name album’s this year including DJ Khaled’s Major Key, and Travis Scott’s Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight.
Yesterday, Tiller took to his SoundCloud to surprise fans with a brand new track titled “Let Me Explain”, featuring production from Phonix (Listen below). “Let Me Explain” is your traditional Tiller slow jam, more-or-less picking up where he left off on T R A P S O U L, attempting to reconcile the relationship between himself and his newest love interest.
As fans are becoming increasingly impatient for the next installment of material from Bryson Tiller, its worth noting that just within the last year alone, Tiller has been tapped for his vocals by some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop. While this might not offer the release date of his next project, it does offer some hope that this is just the beginning, and that his new found relationships will be present on his next effort.
