From the action of the Hunger Games trilogy to the drama of Joy, Jennifer Lawrence will be gracing the big screen again, this time in a Sci-Fi action thriller. The young starlet will not be sitting alone in this new feature as she’ll be accompanied by a Passenger — none other than Guardians of the Galaxy superstar, Chris Pratt.
Per movie site ComingSoon the pair are suspended on a space ship floating through space along with reportedly 5000 other passengers in a time capsule, seem to both have awakened 90 years earlier before it was actually time for them to awaken, leaving the other passengers still asleep. While awake the two begin to get to know each other a little better and try to find out why and how they ended up on the ship in the first place. In the trailer, Lawrence and Pratt seem to become closer than close with one another as they plan romantic dates.
But all good things must come to an end as the ship and life as they knew come to a drastic end. Lawrence and Pratt must work together to find out what is going on before it’s too late. Were they destined to wake up? Or do their lives have another meaning that will probably shock them both?

Well you’ll have to wait until December to fully find out. In the meantime you can view the trailer and sound off on what you think. With this trailer and with Lawrence and Pratt on board, I’m sure there are a lot of people hoping December will come a lot quicker!
Passengers will also star Lawrence Fishburne and Michael Sheen. The movie is set to open at a theater near you on December 21st.
