Hip-Hop and White America have always had a peculiar relationship. At the very beginnings, White America wanted nothing to do with the genre as they would deem it a fad that would soon pass. Once that was disproven, the relationship cultivated into White kids being the top consumer in Hip-Hop and a white rapper, Eminem, being considered one of the greatest of all time. Other than Em, artists such as Insane Clown Posse, Limp Bizkit, and more have took it even a step further, fusing heavy Rock & Roll cadences and instrumentation to create a more grunge sound. North Carolina native Dubs taps into this exact style in the lyric video for the wild track, “White and Crazy“.
Rapping over hard hitting live drums and heavy bass, Dubs goes in on wreaking havoc on the industry and even name drops Taylor Swift and Kanye West while saying, “None of them can ever ever stop me”. Check out the creative new video for the track above and be sure to keep an eye on the Raleigh native, who has already amassed over 100 thousand views on this track.
