Nicki Minaj finally stepped back into the booth to drop a surprise freestyle on Sunday titled “The Pinkprint Freestyle.”
She hinted on Twitter that something was coming and fans were expecting confirmation about the pregnancy rumors that began after Meek’s Instagram post.
Instead, she dropped new fire and reminded everyone why she’s the best despite her hiatus.
The nearly six-minute track contains a shout out to Lil Wayne for giving her a chance and a reference to Harambe the gorilla while over the slightly reworked beat of Young M.A’s “OOOUUU.”
“I’m dragging these hoes like Harambe did the kid.”
Hmmmm… *thinks* — should I? ??

Minaj reminds everyone just how good of a lyricist she is and has no qualms about telling people she’s here to stay.
“Yo, don’t ever talk about Nicki in the past tense/ Unless I fly past that ass in the fast Bent/ F**k outta here you dumb b***h/You know I’m pretty, and I’m witty, and I’m dumb rich.”
At the end Minaj raps a few lines from M.I.A’s 2007 hit Paper Planes over the beat to Shabba Ranks’ dancehall song “Ting-A-Ling.”
“The Pinkprint Freestyle” is the first new music from the Trinidadian rapper since The Pinkprint in 2014 which spawned hits like “Anaconda” and “Truffle Butter.” Recently, she appeared in Ariana Grande’s “Side to Side” music video and performed the song alongside Grande at the MTV VMAs last month.
