After all the highs and lows, get ready for more drug-peddling and law-meddling on Narcos. Netflix confirms the return for season 3 and 4 of the thrilling TV show.
Although season 2 wrapped up the plot, a new story is in the cards for the next few seasons. Booking two more seasons proves Netflix’s faith in the show. Our itch to keep up with Colombia’s favorite (or least favorite) drug lords, is still intact.
The literal hunt for Pablo Escobar delved deep into the Janus-like two faces of DEA agents and wanted criminals. This cat and mouse game, in the case of Escobar, was more like cat and a slippery, calculating fly. The show is based on real events from the 80s.
In the wake of Breaking Bad, Narcos filled the void of complicated anti-heroes among drugs, deception, and the DEA. Now the show is more popular than ever. The season finale left viewers wanting not just the story of Escobar, but of other Colombian cartels.
We need our Narcos fix. Here’s the season two trailer to keep you going:
