Hailing from Southside Atlanta, Riverdale, to be exact, G.R.I.M.M. is a product of his environment, and we mean that in the best way possible. The 25-year old rapper has looked death in the eyes on multiple occasions, pronounced dead on the ER table twice in the same night as a child, suffering from a rare and serious disorder of the skin that he shares with TDE emcee Ab-Soul, Stevens Johnson syndrome. The close call left him covered in scars and clinically blind in his right eye, but he still stands, so he’s making sure he stands for something, and above all, standing out.
After taking a short break from releasing music to perfect his craft, G.R.I.M.M. is back with a loaded arsenal, making sure he doesn’t go unnoticed. The first single he’s delivering with his re-emergence is loaded with features from frequent Yachty collaborator K$upreme & OG Maco. Production for the record is handled by Brandon Thomas, the producer behind OG Maco’s breakthrough hit “U Guessed It.”
