If you haven’t been keeping up with STARZ’s Survivor’s Remorse than you are royally f-ing up. The show– with the most viewers on premiere night ever for a STARZ comedy– is a freaking hit and only three seasons in!
Recently renewed for a fourth season, Survivor’s Remorse has touched on important topics like sex, death, family, love and most recently daddy issues. Yes, all these subjects can be covered in a comedy! If you don’t believe us, check out the clip below from this Sunday’s upcoming episode 309. The clip features Cam Calloway (Jessie T. Usher), M-Chuck (Erica Ash) and Clay Beckwith (Spencer Garrett) discussing hiring a private investigator to find M-Chuck’s father. The clip, short and sweet, is hilarious and quite unexpected but definitely refreshing.
Now you get why the show has been renewed for it’s fourth season! Everybody else surely does:
“We are thrilled to renew ‘Survivor’s Remorse’ for a fourth season,” said Carmi Zlotnik, managing director of Starz according to Variety. “Critics have consistently called it one of the smartest and funniest comedies on television and we are delighted to see audiences embracing the characters and the storyline with that same enthusiasm. Mike O’Malley and his tremendously talented team of writers and actors boldly tackle today’s most pressing issues, from race, class, sex, and politics, to love and loss, but with such a deft touch that nothing ever feels heavy-handed. In the Calloways, O’Malley has created a modern family bound by heart and humor, who remain completely relatable despite dealing with the ‘pro-money and pro-problems’ that come with Cam’s position as one of the top basketball stars in the nation.”
Make sure to watch episode 309 in it’s entirety this upcoming Sunday on STARZ at 10 p.m. EST. And to watch the past episodes from season 1-3, hit up the STARZ site. Trust us, Survivor’s Remorse is one show that you don’t want to miss out on. We watch it faithfully every Sunday!
