As some may know, Lil Wayne has been going through some rough times with his lawyer troubles and his ongoing legal feud with Birdman. It seems that recently, the matter must have gotten worse. The Young Money legend took to twitter to vent some of his frustrations with this trio of tweets; one of which looks to hint at retirement:
I AM NOW DEFENSELESS AND mentally DEFEATED & I leave gracefully and thankful I luh my fanz but I'm dun

After he was brought out at Drake’s show in Houston, Drake shared this message showing his support for his mentor and friend.
Wayne was also met with support from a slew of other artists including Missy Elliot, Nicki Minaj, Young Thug, Chance the Rapper and many others. The sudden out pour of support and admiration for Wayne is just a small sentiment to his career and how he’s helped/impacted the careers of other artists in the industry. However, this is not the first talk about retirement from Lil Wayne.
Though it was rumored that Wayne was set to drop another album titled Tha Carter V. The world may never get to see that album. If the news is true, the world will be losing another great in the hip-hop game and really maybe too early in his career.
