DJ SOSUPERSAM Releases Her New Single "So"

If you are a fan and lover of SOULECTION, then the name Samantha Duenas, aka DJ SOSUPERSAM, rings a bell. This Los Angeles native initially worked in fashion PR before switching to DJ-ing full time. Bored of her 9-5 routine, she taught herself how to DJ on the side. Her hobby eventually became career as she picked up gigs and began touring with reputable artists such as Childish Gambino, Erykah Badu, Little Dragon to name a few.

DJ SOSUPERSAM hosts the hottest L.A. party “1-4-3,” which she created with some friends. Looking to only play slow jams and R&B songs, her idea came into fruition. The pager number 143, meaning “I Love You,” has become a staple center for real music lovers, with special guest performances from Jon B., Sisqo, and Ginuwine.

Introducing people to new music, Sam has her SUP? mixtape series highlighting bubbling indie artists. Teasing her own vocal and production abilities on her mixtapes, SOSUPERSAM is ready to showcase her new talents. Garden (Sept. 23) will be her first official debut project as a recording artist.
