Following on from the release of 10 Years of Akala last week Friday, outspoken English rapper, Akala gives us the brand new video for his track “Giants,” featuring Kabaka Pyramid and Marshall.
Winter may be well and truly on its way, but in the visuals, Akala gives us some scenes to reminisce over the summer with, as he takes a walk through the colourful scenes of Notting Hill Carnival in London.
According to Akala, “Giants” is all about positive change:
“Giants is a track about pioneers and foundation-layers, those who have paved the way politically, culturally and musically in a positive way for the world that we inhabit today.”
Akala’s highly awaited album, 10 Years of Akala celebrates 10 years since the release of his critically acclaimed debut record It’s Not a Rumour. With this huge milestone under his belt, Akala is also now on tour as of today as he plans to perform across the UK and Ireland, tickets can be found here. The rapper will also be taking the album abroad to the US, New Zealand and Australia.
