Young Thug has been teasing fans with snippets of songs he most likely has slotted to appear in his upcoming album, Jeffery. The album now has a supposed release date, August 16th, which appeared in the caption of a photo posted on Thugger’s IG.
We see Young Thug covering up his face with his dreadlocks, wearing a black shirt against a gray background, and white lettering above him spelling out the name of the album, which is also his birth name. If this is the album artwork, it’s a more simplistic addition to Thugger’s repertoire of edgy and mysterious album art.
The picture is prosaically captioned “8-16” and features fans speculating and anticipating in the comments section. For the past week or so, Thugger’s been slyly captioning his IG photos with the album title/his name, “Jeffery,” suggesting he’s been subtly dropping hints for a while now.
The first picture was accompanied by a second one, posted an hour later, featuring the same gray background and white lettering, but this time featured Thugger’s arms outstretched.
