It’s no secret that the Atlanta area is home to a multitude of lower income neighborhoods, whose residents won’t have to funds to purchase items that are fundamental to survival, including school supplies.
Young Jeezy returned to his native hometown of Atlanta with his Street Dreamz Foundation to help out a community in need. Jeezy, with help from Lil’ Jon, Shanti Das and her Hip Hop Professional Foundation, Hot 107.9 Atlanta and Walmart, went to go purchase book bags from local stores. Jeezy and Lil’ Jon ended up purchasing 1000 book bags each, with the rest of the donations coming from sponsors and local participants.
The crew intends on headed over to various elementary schools in the Atlanta area and distribute the items in person.
