After announcing that the arrival of his new sophomore LP Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight would be delayed for another two weeks, Travis $cott made amends by taking to his new Apple Music radio show .wav to drop a pair of new album cuts, “90201” and “Pick Up the Phone,” before dropping the latter’s NSFW music video.
The nudity-filled video features Scott, Young Thug and Migos’ Quavo romping around a seedy, smoky motel surrounded by scantily clad and sometimes fully nude women. The video, which debuted at a Los Angeles celebration for Scott’s new Apple Music show and upcoming LP, was met with rave fan reviews and is proving to be a successful follow-up to 2015’s Rodeo.
On .wav, Scott revealed that Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight would also feature guests like Kendrick Lamar and Kid Cudi in addition to Young Thug and Quavo. In a series of tweets, Scott also announced that Birds had been pushed back to August 26th due to “technical difficulties” after initially scheduling August 12th as its release date. “I want y’all to take this album in as whole I’m so anti singles. U will love me for this. Trust in the flame,” the rapper tweeted.

Meanwhile, Young Thug is dropping his own new project, dubbed Jeffrey, that’s due out August 16th.
