Yes, Khaled’s 9th Major label LP only just dropped over the weekend. However, the album contains some of the biggest records of the summer, and maybe the year.
From the iconic “Nas Album Done” to the star-studded “Do You Mind,” Major Key is just as big as Khaled Prophetized it would be.

Dreezy’s No Hard Feelings
Since her breakout hit “Chiraq” in 2015, Dreezy has been grinding hard to get to where she is today. Her Billboard top 100 single “Body” has been driving Dreezy’s hype train nationwide.
Though the Chicago native major label debut is an impressive offering with records like “Spazz” and “Bad Bitch.”
Her vocal abilities are also well showcased, for example on the Phenomanal single “Close To You.”

Lil Yachty’s Summer Songs 2
Lil Yachty’s past six months have been a whirlwind. It seems like just yesterday lil boat was dropping a collection of tracks on Soundcloud that would become Lil Yachty’s first mixtape, Lil Boat.
Now he’s back with his follow up project Summer Songs 2. This tape is more of that famous “Bubblegum Trap” sound that Yachty and, fellow Sailing team member, Burberry Perry helped make famous.
Standout records on the tape included the posse cut “For Hot 97” and the incredible sweet “Pretty.” If you haven’t heard anything from the “One Night” artist, this new mixtape would be a great starting point.

Gucci Mane’s Everybody Looking
Gucci’s return is a celebration of the Trap God’s influence in the rap game.
It reflects on his past success while looking towards a bright future as one of Hip-Hop’s greatest taste-makers.
Guwop’s latest project, Everybody Looking, is a collection of bangers. “Gucci Please,” “Waybach” and “At least an M” or worthy additions to Guwop’s illustrious catalogue.

ScHoolboy Q’s Blank Face LP
ScHool Boy Q’s latest album, Blank Face LP, is a revelation for the artist.
The “That Part” rapper brings his A game for his sophomore record.
This time around Q goes for a more soulful approach with songs “Know Ya Wrong,” “JoHn Muir,” and “By Any Means.”
While sticking to his guns and popping out pulse ringing bangers “Dope Dealer” and “Groovy Tony.” Q puts together a compilation of tracks that is possibly worthy of the album of the year recognition.
