If you did yourself a favor and checked out Hus Kingpin’s previous projects, then you know the artist (by way of Brooklyn and Hempstead, L.I.) is no stranger to fire collabs. Whether you peeped the House of Kingpin mixtape, hosted by Netflix’s House of Cards’ own Remy Danton (Mahershala Ali), The Cognac Tape featuring Roc Marciano or the Hus Kingpin Meets Pro Era EP, it’s clear the emcee’s light only shines brighter next to complimentary talent.
That being said, Hus, a.k.a. “Lord Wavy”, takes the Max B. influences to the next level with “Wave Palooza” featuring JuneLyfe (of Boston’s Retrospek). Hus offer’s velvety smooth verses over a masterfully produced instrumental, by Marco Polo, that adds the perfect amount of drama to a mellow hook.
The homie always comes through with A1 music, and I give it a thumbs up, however, feel free to peep it below and let us know if you agree.
