It’s been a minute since we heard from Meek Mill after his pretty brutal beef with Drake.
Now, the MMG rapper has finally broken his silence about various juicy topics in an interview with MyMixtapez. As well as the beef with Drake, he spoke about getting advice from Jay Z and raising his son.
On the topic of Drizzy beef, Meek suggested that he was barely affected by any of the disses thrown his way.
“I remember last year, watching people, everybody going against me about a diss record. I remember looking at it like, ‘Y’all really think this gon’ stop me? You think telling me I’m going on my girlfriend’s tour is gon’ stop me? Is that a joke?’”
He also suggested that he was proud to be on his “girl’s tour.”
“I thought that was live for me to have a girl that get more money than me, that do a bigger tour that me. I thought that was actually dope, to wake up, go on stage with your girl, make some money, have some good loving at the end of the night.”
In the interview, Meek also revealed he has a lot of good stuff to look forward to including a sneaker release in collaboration with Puma. Meek Mill fans have also been waiting on his next release and will be pleased to hear that he provided an update on Dreamchasers 4 which he described as a “mixtape slash album.” When asked about potential producers, he stated that he would be working with a lot of new producers.
“This mixtape is my re-introduction for the people who doubted me.”
The in-depth interview definitely allowed Meek to tell us he’s planning to come back strong with DC4.
