Snoop and Martha bring the munchies to your a TV screen. VH1 has created a TV show hosted by the domestic goddess Martha Stewart and the laid back rapper Snoop Dogg. “Martha and Snoop’s Dinner Party” will premiere the unlikely pair in the fall for a ten episode series.
Martha and Snoop’s joint efforts light the fire for unscripted hilarity. The pair will invite other celebrities over for their weekly event, throwing more characters into the mixture.
VH1 describes the show as “a half-baked evening of cocktails, cooking, conversation, and fun where nothing is off limits.”
While Martha might teach Snoop a thing or two about being the perfect host, Snoop is sure to bring the greens and the gin & juice.
Complex reports Snoop saying “My homegirl Martha and I have a special bond that goes back,” in a press release on Monday. The two meshed on Martha’s show years ago, where their comedy potential sparked. Their wit and playful natures have made them the new odd-couple of television.
Snoop D-oh-double-g and Martha S-t-e-w-a-r-t…? Who’s betting Snoop can get Martha rapping in the studio next?
