Majid Jordan released their music video for “Small Talk” today and we can’t be anymore excited. The song was included in their self-titled debut album which dropped earlier this year. The Canadian R&B duo– singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman– tell a relatable story in their video, though they add a bit of a twist at the end.
The song itself is about a man trying to get over an ex, though not really succeeding. The music video of course puts a matching visual story to the track. Jordan, playing the pining man, spends most of the video trying to reach his ex on his phone, or staring longingly out of the window. This makes the girl he was set up with not very happy as she tries to get him to focus solely on her. It turns out that Jordan apparently likes dangerous women which causes him to be in a bit of a bind. Check out the video below to see what happens!
