The Game is bringing us back to 1992.
The Compton rapper released the cover art of his new project 1992 inspired by memories and experiences he faced throughout that year as a 12-year-old as well as struggles that were happening in the world.
The artwork– done by Joe Cool— shows the OJ Simpson police chase, Rodney King getting beat up by the police and a symbolic picture of The Game as a young boy being the object of tug-of-war with the bloods and crips.
Cool also did the iconic cover for Snoop Dog‘s Doggy Style album.
It’s anticipated that the album may drop in September, but what makes this album different from the rest is that it does not have any features.
Shocking Right.
