So if you haven’t already heard the news of the evening, Drake got Rihanna a Billboard for her VMA Vanguard nomination. Awwwww! It’s always nice to see celebrities show affection in public towards one another. Drake took it further or maybe back is the right term considering our current technological age. Instead of posting something on twitter, snap chat, Facebook, Instagram, or whatever other social media outlet of choice, he took the time to think about a sincere way to send a message. Though the message made its way to social media eventually, it began as snail mail. When you think about it, its pretty hopeless romantic in a way. Drake seems to fit the bill.
After everyone on social media caught wind to the billboard, there has been a continuous wave of meme’s and “i just can’t”‘s. Here are a few examples now.
Eventually Rihanna did see the billboard, whether it was in person or through social media. She responded on Instagram and confirmed the rumors even more that they are indeed a thing. So sweet.
Her response is so RiRi as she plays it cool while commenting on his thirst.
Oh RiRi, if only you knew the thirst others have for this type of love. The girl is blessed. Hopefully now that they are confirming their togetherness Drake won’t stop with the simping hits. Just because y’all found love, don’t mean the rest of the world doesn’t need that type of comfort!
With Rihanna now nominated for the vanguard award, the VMA’s just seem to get more and more interesting. The show is on Sunday and may be the key to success with DJ Khaled hosting along with Charlamagne Tha God. Make sure you check it out!
