YG and DJ Mustard have sonic capabilities that completely suit each other’s styles. The two collaborated in the past on My Krazy Life and formed an intense duo that specialized in the Gangsta Rap sound.
The duo were unfortunately involved in some intense feuding back in 2014, over disputes about who did and didn’t get paid for work on each other’s tracks. Judging by the sudden announcement on Twitter, it’s safe to say the two have moved past any personal and professional issues (thankfully), and resumed to collaborate in the studio.

YG then proceeded to confirm the latter’s announcement, and posting it up on his Instagram, as well as his other social media accounts:

It’ll be interesting to see the follow up to YG’s G-Funk album Still Brazy and see how he and Mustard match up considering the versatility of the California rapper.
