The brothers of reality TV star Toya Wright have been fatally shot in New Orleans.
According to BET, Rudy Johnson and Josh Johnson were killed early this morning (July 31). Tweets about the incident were sent out by the New Orleans Police Department which took place on the 7th ward near the corner of Pauger and North Miro streets.

Toya Wright, was said to have heard about the death of her brothers whilst she was on stage. She then left the stage after hearing the news. Later, Wright took to Instagram to confirm the loss of her brothers:
‘Help me Lord???? I will never understand this. #stoptheviolence #ineverfeltpainlikethisbefore #riptomybrothers #icantbelievethis #prayformyfamily ???’
Rudy and Josh appeared on the reality TV show A Family Affair with their sister Toya. They also appeared on Marriage Bootcamp. Publicly, a number of Toya’s friends and family have been sending their condolences to her on social media. Her daughter, Reginae Carter, daughter of rapper Lil Wayne posted on Instagram about losing her uncles:
‘I lost two of my uncles last night ? I’m speechless . I’m hurt . I’m devastated . What in the world is going on in this world?’
Singer K. Michelle, who has feuded with Wright in the past put aside their beef to also send her prayers to her on Twitter:
