Dave East has been buzzing all over lately by dropping new music left and right. He strikes again this week with putting out two new tracks titled “Percocets” and “No Lights.”
The XXL Freshman is poppin’ pills in his track “Percocets,” in which he raps about the streets, cash money and coming up in the game. East talks about the struggles with lyrics like “I was in the trenches on the benches, them n***as laughed at me.” But then he let everyone know he “just signed a deal that changed [his] f***in life.”
On the Triple A-produced track “No Lights,” the Harlem native welcomes you into his dope house, but this time he only popped one perc. Not only does he let us know that his gun works, but he also spits bars like “n**a you ain’t never seen an AK / show ya b**h to the world like I’m Ray J / never gave a f**k about what they say.” This guy has an endless amount of bars.
Expect more music from Dave East soon since not only has he been dropping freebies, but he has been working on his forthcoming mixtape titled after his daughter, Kairi Chanel.
