Fans of the Philly rapper have been desperately waiting for something new on the Uzi front. Earlier this week XXL dropped their series of cyphers for their annual Freshman class. Uzi was featured in one of the videos below.
The cypher video was really the first time Uzi has had a larger set of eyes on him, so it was important that he made a good impression. And for the most part, he does give a decent freestyle while getting some ad-lib help from Pompano Beach rapper, Kodak Black.
All in all this cypher was a good look for Uzi, following this up by ending the week dropping the much anticipated visual for his chart soaring single “Money Longer”.
In the video, Lil Uzi channels inspiration from Bryan Lee O’Malley‘s Scott Pilgrim series. Uzi cast his girlfriend, Instagram sensation Brittany Byrd, as a heroine inspired by one of O’Malley’s most infamous characters Ramona Flowers.

There is also a pretty intense scene of Uzi and Brittany having a shootout with some bad guys while riding a dirt bike.
Check out the visual below, and then give us your thoughts about the video in the comment section. For more news on Lil Uzi Vert, keep it locked on RESPECT.
