Icon For Hire released the world premiere of their music video “Supposed To Be” on July 22, 2016. The new video appeared on the band’s official Facebook and on YouTube.
The rock band’s song “Supposed To Be” is the first from their new album You Can’t Kill Us to get a video. The album, which has 3 songs currently released for it, is the band’s first album to be independently released after breaking from their recording label. Icon For Hire had broken their contract with Tooth & Nail Records in 2015, giving creative, technical, and ideological differences as the reason for the split. The band started a Kickstarter for their new project, which they hope to complete throughout the 2016 year for the backers of the project and the rest of their fans.
The music video for “Supposed To Be” includes several fans of the band. The Facebook post that featured the new video also included the message “Our new music video, Supposed To Be, exists because of the Icon Army. Thank you so much for literally being a part of its creation.”
