North Carolina alternative Hip-Hop artist Tehon stakes his claim as a force to be reckoned with the infectious new single, “Burned Alive“. Going in over heavy drum kicks, 80’s Pop synths and intense guitar rifts, Tehon displays his original rhyme patterns and vocal ranges.
Transitioning seamlessly from falsettos to 16’s, the Tar heel state native croons sobering lyrics like “I know hurt people, hurt people” and “Sooner than later won’t open up to nobody/ got a cold body”. In short, “Burned Alive” is a frustrated love song.
After testing his luck in LA, the rapper/singer lost his apartment and had to move back to North Carolina. “Burned Alive” showcases the frustration and rage from that event, while simultaneously exhibiting the pain. Check out the track below, and be on the lookout for Tehon’s debut EP, coming later this year.
