Lets get back to the Future, who dropped a new song for us today. The Atlanta rapper, who has been quiet on solo releases for a while is now back at it again.
Future makes “Paparazzi (Dab)” his present, after the song has been teased at the end of Mike WiLL Made-It‘s music video for “Drinks on us” in 2015.
The rapper’s trap style is so suited to the subject of “dabbing,” that we’re almost surprised he hasn’t devoted a song to the subject before. Future’s dark, and sometimes incomprehensible, music is suitable for low-lit clubs and dancers with attitude.
Future has notably been respectively collaborating with Drake and DJ Khaled, on ‘What a Time to Be Alive‘ and ‘I Got the Keys‘. However, his solo comeback could be in response to Desiigner. Many whispers and shouts have been circulating comparing the two rappers’ sounds and techniques to being similar. Future, at 32, has to mark his territory as the dominant male against the 19 year-old Desiigner.
Future also released “Guap on Me“, a song to compliment “Paparazzi (Dab).”
If you have trouble remembering lyrics, this is the song for you. A large portion of the song consists of…
“Dab-dab, dab-dab, 100 times/
Dab, dab, dab, dab, dab, dab”
…proving that we could listen to Future read the phone book and be satisfied.
