“It’s personal, free ‘em now/Murder trials, OJ Simpson/White on white, OJ Simpson/Double murder, OJ Simpson”
Future drops bars about one of the most talked about murder trials in history and alludes to the movie, and colloquialism, “Juice,” both revolving around the idea that “juice” is a metaphor for “power.”
DJ Esco and the Atlanta rapper teamed up for a music video largely influenced by the OJ Trial, and appropriately so. The video features Esco and others taking part in typical hood activity- tossing die in the alley, getting chased by police, picking up girls, and more- while Future’s face appears in a shaky red frame from time to time to add to the tense vibe.
Esco’s new mixtape, Project E.T. (Esco Terrestrial), contains plenty of collaborations between the BET Award Winning Producer and Future, as well as features from the likes of Drake, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, Juicy J, Rae Sremmurd, Rich Homie Quan, Casey Veggies, Nef the Pharaoh, and more.
