After dropping his sophomore album Still Brazy last week, YG has shown his West coast flair with a brand new freestyle, “Been Brazy.”
The rapper dropped by radio station Power 106 to spit bars exclusively for the LA Leakers show, and he sure went in. Delivering lines, about ‘flossin,’ haters, and his Impala, the Compton rapper raps over a beat from DJ Sourmilk and Justin Credible. At the end of the freestyle he also expressed his views over Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump, holding up a t-shirt which pretty much echoed his sentiment. Of course, we know that YG doesn’t have kind feelings towards Trump from his track “F**k Donald Trump.”
‘F**k Trump by the way, f**k Trump by the way.’
YG’s follow up to his debut record, My Krazy Life has been gaining momentum throughout the week. According to Hits Daily Double, the “Twist My Fingaz” rapper is expected to move between 37-42k copies which includes sales as well as streaming. Despite missing popular producer DJ Mustard, Still Brazy makes up with a number of star-studded features including Nipsey Hussle, Ty Dollar $ign, Lil Wayne and of course Drake who features on the “Why You Always Hatin” with Kamaiyah.
The rapper has most definitely bounced back and kept on track with his music despite being shot last year in June. YG suffered three wounds in his hip at a recording studio in Studio City in California. However the Bompton rapper refused to be affected by his injuries and returned back to the studio next day. This hard work has no doubt produced the rapper’s second album.
