TGOD, album is finally here. A collebrative album between Pittsburgh native, Wiz Khalifa, Menphis legend Juicy J, and new star producer from Atlanta, TM 808.
The album had been circulating rumors of a release date since first being mention earlier in the year. Wiz, who has been working on his own album set to come out this year, took a break to work with his label mate. Juicy J signed to Wiz’s, “Taylor Gang or Die“, label back in 2011. They have had many songs in the past, featured as singles and tracks for Wiz’s solo albums. It was clear from those tracks that the two had great chemistry. Although they produced plenty of popular tracks together, they’ve never made a collaborative project.
Juicy J is a prime example of a timeless rapper. He first got his start back in the early 2000’s with super group, “Three Six Mafia”. He was able to change his style and keep up with the times to be able to remain relevant in today’s rap world.
The tape was produced by TM 808. He has really gotten a lot of attention from various artist dating back to last year. From artist like Future, Curren$y, and others, he has made his mark. Coming from Atlanta, there has been one super producer after another, and this seems to be the next one in line.
Wiz has been particularly quite, besides a few tracks with Lil Uzi Vert. It has been no difference for Juicy J. Finally with the release of this album it’s feeling fans need for new music from the duo. With only one feature from Project Pat, it highlights the weed smokers chemistry on every song.
