Rihanna is currently on her world tour for her eighth studio album, ANTI.
The “Work” and “Needed Me” singer had a tour date in Dublin, Ireland on Tuesday. The show was running smoothly until Rihanna caught herself tearing up during a performance of her 2010 hit single “Love the Way You Lie.” Details are scarce concerning why Rihanna became vulnerable during the show.
A fan from the #RihannaNavy, Stanley Vieria (@stanleyvieria), caught Instagram video of the 28-year-old singer starting “Love the Way You Lie” in tears before becoming overwhelmed with emotion. In the video, you can see RiRi take a moment to bow her head while the show still goes on. The loyal #RihannaNavy steps up as they fill in the rest of the song lyrics. Watch the short clip below.
It seems as if Rihanna, who is currently on the European leg of her tour, simply had an emotional moment during the love ballad.
