Dimitri South, who goes by the alias PanamaDaPrince, is a Brooklyn bred Hip Hop artist who has performed across the US, independently. His music has even been featured on TV shows such as “Black Ink Crew” on VH1 and has been on rotation on Music Choice’s Rap channel. And while the NBA Playoffs are now over, Panama releases a basketball-referenced single that has nothing to do with GSW or CLE.
Tim Duncan is a catchy tune that is initially interpreted to be a song about basketball. But upon further listening, you’ll catch onto the subliminal. The Tim Duncan reference, if you’re not a basketball fan, is that win or lose, happy or angry, Tim Duncan always keeps a straight face.
