It’s been a minute since Young Jeezy released some new heat. This summer is really bringing everybody out providing us with some great music to ride to. Just yesterday Jeezy released his new single “Magic City Monday” featuring 2 Chainz and Future. The Atlanta based rappers paid tribute to one of the hottest strip clubs in the game. None of the rappers are strangers to this club so it only makes sense they pay homage to the place they go for celebration – stress release, or just because.
This is such a rare track because these three hit makers have never been on a track together before. Jeezy’s style has never switched up his entire time in the rap game and his original flow and sound still rides on any track. On “Magic City Monday” it wouldn’t make sense for the Snow Man to go without mentioning his relevancy in the industry.
‘They wanna see a n*gga fall out the game, you know I stay smoking good, steady ballin’ on these suckas, countin’ paper, I suggest you do the same.’
Of course, 2 Chainz shows out on his verse by adding character to the song. Like any and every other track he’s been involved with, his insane rhyming choices and vocabulary go dumb. He has yet to disappoint on a song we’ve heard or lacked enthusiasm.
Last but not least Future adds his unique style that rides the beat in a completely different way than Jeezy or 2 Chainz does. His grimy fast rap may be hard to understand but that’s never stopped anyone from becoming a part of the Future Hive.
Hopefully this isn’t the last time these three rappers do a collaboration. Their unique sounds makes a dope song, and history on top of that! Listen to the new song “Magic City Monday” here!
