Mondo Mason – Potion (prod. Eli 1000)

18 year-old Mondo Mason is spiraling out of of the New Jersey area. He delivers his new record “Potion” with producer Eli 1000. Eli and Mondo are no strangers when it comes to working with one another.

“Working with Eli 1000 is incomparable to working with anyone else. I came up in music with Eli. We’ve been working together since we were kids. As well as me and my whole team,” Eli said. We’ve all been making music together our whole lives. Me and Eli 1000 making music together as well in a duo named ‘zovax’ (soundcloud.com/zovax), and we are simply adaptable in our approach to music. Zovax is a representation of reality in our lives. I breathe music, I don’t think about it when I am making it. It’s the expression of my movements and my upcoming.”

“Potion” sonically sounds the way it does for specific reasons. After toying around in the studio, he caught a vibe and ran with it.

“This track came about when Eli and I were in the studio vining and I started freestyle the simple way I felt at that moment. I have a feeling where I feel dizzy all the time for some reason and it’s emphasized a lot through the darkness of some of my sounds.”

Surely, Mondo will be bringing more solo heat for people to enjoy, but this one kicks the door open for what’s to come.
