Lil Wayne – Off Off Off (prod. Ben Billions)
Lil Wayne has been in the business of dedicating tracks to athletes, brands, teams, and associations for his entire career. Some of the most notable have been “Michael Phelps,” “Kobe Bryant,” and now we have have a new one to enjoy.
Lil Wayne decided to throw some hard bars on a track for the Cleveland Cavaliers. More so to the benefit of LeBron James, Wayne is hoping the Cavs can pull out more victories to close out the series. The Cavs are currently down 2-1, but perhaps this will ring some alarms through the team’s locks room for inspiration.
“That 3-point from J.R.’s [Smith] the purest,” Wayne said during the first verse of the song. There’s a ton of name dropping from the team that takes place, and who better than Wayne to place the bars into a great context?
Wayne is currently prepping his sixth installment to the ‘Dedication’ series, and perhaps this will end up on the project.
Take a listen to the track below.
