UK Grime Artist Skepta Drops Visuals For ‘Man’

UK grime MC, Skepta announced the video for his new track, “Man” on Twitter yesterday and fans’ couldn’t help but be hella excited.

Skepta’s highly anticipated album Konnichiwa is due to drop on May 6 and “Man” will be on the project. Though the LP will be his first in five years, this hasn’t stopped fans from staying loyal. And we are sure the visuals for “Man” is Skepta’s way of thanking them.

“Man” — filmed in London– have a throwback feel, filmed with a hand held camera. The Boy Better Know co-founder and his crew are seen turnin’ up in a basement and causing all sorts of chaos when they wreck a car in the video that was shot by Risky Roadz.

A household name on the UK grime scene, Skepta has recently been gaining more attention in the US. He has found a friend and a huge fan in Drake too. The VIEWS rapper has been very vocal in co-signing Skepta and his work. Earlier this year, Drizzy signed to the London rapper’s label Boy Better Know, which has only helped to increase Skepta’s exposure in the US. Drake also joined the MC on stage in London in February this year, helping him perform his track “Shutdown.” Skepta fans will no doubt be keen to see if his new album has the collaboration they have all been waiting for with Skepta and Drake.
