The wait is over folks.
After getting the runaround for months, TDE member ScHoolboy Q finally released the date for his highly anticipated new LP. The Oxymoron rapper took to Twitter today to announce that his new album will be released July 8th. Though the title of the album is still unknown, fans of the California native has been relishing every little detail and hint coming from the camp and the anticipation is higher now than ever.

Though details of the albums release were scarce until now, ScHoolboy has been anything but quiet. After causing waves in the Hip-Hop universe with his action packed POV video for “Groovy Tony“, Q flexed a little bit harder with the release of the single, “THat Part” which includes a guest verse from Kanye West.
Despite having what seems to be a lethal duo on paper, TDE head hancho Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith took to Twitter to display displeasure about the sales of the single. “Who bought Q single?” tweeted the label head, “We have over 11m followers and his single sold 26k the 1st week. y’all beg 4 it..explain that support 2 me…lmao.”
Although sales of the single weren’t up to standard, the release of the full length album will surely please Top Dawg if they’re anything close to Oxymoron sales, as the album debuted number one on the charts and was one of the most critically acclaimed albums of 2014. With July 8th around the corner, fans will soon have the follow up they’ve been craving. Until then check out the new singles Q dropped which are available through Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play, and more.
