Some grow up listening to hip-hop. Some find it appealing as they get older. But people like Kenneth Callier, are born with it in their blood. And there is no way of denying it. Lyricist and rapper, Callier, is a creative all around. He is heavily involved in music, photography, videography, painting and drawing in order to create visuals that will display his music perfectly. And used all those skills, he did, for his newest visual for “Worth.”
“Worth” is Callier’s first single off of his upcoming album, 2 and probably one of the hardest tracks off the project:
“I’m really knowing my worth/Sad cause the apathy hurts/Mad cause he’s snapping each verse/When half of these rappers rehearse/I’m glad at the fact that we swam/So now we can actually surf/Don’t have to admit that he tried/Just glad to admit that it worked.”
The visual for “Worth” is simple and straightforward and it leaves no room for confusion on what is important: the lyrics. The video was shot by Callier alongside Royal Descent but directed and edited by Callier. Talk about multi-tasking!
If you want to keep up with Callier and his music, you can do so by checking out his site and following him on Twitter. “Worth” is available for purchase on iTunes. Tell us what you think of the visual for “Worth.” Are you rocking with it?
