The hardest part in the music industry is finding your own sound. It takes time, its not something that just comes over night, sometimes its rapid and in some cases its rather slow. For Queens sensation SoSo, that’s exactly what his freshman project Joyride does. Growing up, SoSo was always around music. His father was was the lead singer in a rock band and his elder brothers exposed him to all genres of music from hardcore rap music to old school Motown melodies.

Growing up finding his own sound, SoSo began songwriting in his teens and formed a production and rapping collective with his close friends. Through this, SoSo was able to find his sound and run with it. SoSo developed a chill vibe and has been going strong since. The premiere of his new video “Closed Curtains” presents such a relaxing mood that will bring such good vibes within the first minute of the song and was the first single off of his first EP Joyride. As a rapper, SoSo speaks on real life experiences and relationships without the necessity of lofty language and awkward wording. Throughout his career his main focus has been to inspire the people and create music they can relate to. Joyride was just the beginning for SoSo, more visuals and new music will be releasing soon, he’s already decided to name his second project after his new born daughter.
