Boston emcee, Cousin Stizz returns with audio and visuals for his new single “Gain Green.” Stizz continues to drop music after the release of his critically acclaimed mixtape Suffolk County dropped in 2015. “Gain Green” is the fourth release since his last project and Stizz shows us he’s been putting in work and gearing up for the release of his forthcoming project.
The audio for “Gain Green” first premiered on OVO Sound Radio this past weekend in which Stizz received high praise for its release. Stemming from that release came the music video and audio for “Gain Green.” The visuals highlight Stizz and his crew smoking and drinking as they give us insight on their lifestyle parlaying across Suffolk County in Boston. In the song, Cousin Stizz touches on how his recent accomplishments over the last year have been paying off. However, Stizz isn’t complacent and is still hungry for more success. Lines such as “Gain green, I need blue hundreds” back that up by Stizz probably meaning him and his posse are green (good) but they need more. With co-signs ranging from Justin Bieber to Drake, and talent manager, Tim Larew backing him, Stizz’s rise to rap fame seems all but imminent if he keeps it up.
