Who was the coolest president in history? Barack Obama. This man said “Obama out,” then dropped the mic and walked away from the podium. He ended his final White House Correspondents dinner on a cool note.
If you didn’t know, Barack Obama is the first African American president in American history. His legacy is well known. He graduated from Harvard University. He was also a lawyer and a teacher for quite some time. He married our first lady, Michelle Obama. They had two daughters together.
He let loose on his final speech at the White House Correspondents Dinner. He doesn’t have to worry about re-election or worry about “presidenting” beyond his final months in the White House. Throughout his entire presidency his cool radar has been off the charts.
During his speech, he made a lot of pop culture references. He talked about Michelle Obama’s passion for gardening and healthy eating. He took shots at the media. He joked and boasted a lot about losing his clout. Even last week, he met with dignitaries in Europe. Among the dignitaries, were Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.
Obama talked about foreign leaders giving him grief. He also joked about becoming a “Couch Commander” once he leaves the White House. He also took the time out to mock Donald Trump during his speech, which was pure comedy. Obama called out Trump for his stance on anti-immigration, which he felt were unrealistic. He clearly dropped the mic on GOP candidates effortlessly. He also found time to share an inside joke with John Boehner. He only answered one question about immigration policies and foreign relations; his press secretary handled the rest. Clearly, Obama dropping the mic was an epic moment in presidential history.
