Nike’s Zoom Mercurial Flyknits are soccer-inspired, originally being cleats, now they have been designed for everyday wear.
The shoe also pays respect to the 2016 Euro football tournament in France, which starts June 10th and ends July 10th. The shoe is has a black/Black-white-Anthracite colorway. It has a tonal black hue across the knitted upper, the ankle sleeve is higher cut and leather overlay on the heel. The midsole is inspired by the 1997 Zoom Spiridon, which was a comforable successful model back in the day.
These will release on June 18th. The Nike Zoom Mercurial Flyknit will be apart of exclusive models that will be unveiled at the “Palais of Speed,” which is an exhibition to “celebrate football (soccer), speed and innovation.” It will be in Palais de Tokyo. The Palais of speed is from June 4th to June 18th, giving access to exclusive events and interactive experiences. There will be nine limited edition exclusive boxes designed by Parisian artist, Ugo Gattoni for each shoe. These will be extremely limited, but it definitely shows the impressive use of sneaker technology, which makes it well worth the purchase.
