Kevin Gates Releases his latest EP, ‘Murder for Hire 2’

Last night the Louisiana rapper, Kevin Gates released his latest EP, Murder for Hire 2 as he said he would. The prequel to his Murder for Hire 2, Murder for Hire was released an exact year ago from yesterday. The punctuality is appreciated! Upping the anti, this new tape has 8 new tracks on it, one more than the previous. The new tape includes one feature from a fellow Bread Winner Association member, OG Boobie Black. This is a first for this sequel considering his past tape had no features at all.

Coining his signature deep and raspy voice, it is just as omnipresent in this tape as the last. Not to mention in his debut album, Isiah, which was only released five months ago, and is still home to some of the hottest tracks of the year. There is even more talk of a new album from Gates that is being held back until next February. Gates doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. He tweeted the release of Murder for Hire 2, mid April in spite of it all. His ‘F*ck It‘ mentality seems to be a ‘Great Attitude‘ to base this mixtape on as he shares his music with his fans.

We look forward to hearing more from Gates and how he is going to go ‘Off Da Meter’ in the coming year.
